Being mobile in Paris

When in Paris and want to come around to see the interesting monument, galleries, shops or what elss is interesting for you, you have to move. You can go by foot, take the bus or the metro or you can take a bike. A bike? Yes!

The Parisian streets are crowdes with cars and pedestrians. The French style

driving cars is …. like …. kind of …. (place any word you want – I definitely don’t want to drive a car in Paris; neither mine nor a rented one; even, maybe, if it is very old and worth nothing anymore – just my own opinion).

So, when in Paris, and you can’t take a bus or the metro, you could rent a bike. There are many bike rental station in Paris. You go there, pick up a bike and ride to your destination. Find a rental station near your destination ad put the bike back in the rental stations. The basket in front of the bike ca be usedfor bringing home your daily purchasese. It costs 1€ for the first 30 minutes and you get a standarized bike for your inidividual use. That sound fair to me.

Stay tuned for the next post on Paris. While waiting you could also have a look at the previous posts.
