This weeks assignment for photographers over at “The daily post” is quite challenging. It’s “Threshold” as you already might have seen from the subject.
I picked this photo taken last year at a ballooning festival. Here, here and here you can read more about the festival.
Threshold means, done with the preparation and going up to the next level. While some balloons are already in the air, the big red one is still in preparation on the ground.
I hope you like it. If so, you can go back to my previous post and have al look on them.
Take care!
Have you ever done ballooning? Must be quite the thrill.

Yes, it is, Janet.

I flew twice until now. First in September 2012 with a hot air balloon and with a gas balloon for the sec on time, in June 2013. It’s really a fantastic experience.
Nice interpretation of the Threshold theme! I’ve always been fascinated with hot air balloons, although I’m not sure I’d be ready to get up in one any time soon.
Someone should bring along a politician or two and they wouldn’t need to have all that fire right next to them. Of course, the risk there is that the balloon would go shooting off like a rocket and never come back. 🙂
As for me, I was out looking for photographs reflecting the Halloween theme last October and came across this interesting Threshold. You’re welcome to come and see what my take on this week’s theme is:

Hi there! I included a link of your post on my blog:

I hope you don’t mind. It’s so that other people can see how fun joining challenges is and how engaging and interactive it can be.
Have a good day! 🙂
I love hot air balloons! Beautiful image.
Thanks!
