Weekly Photo Challenge: express yourself

This weeks photo challenge at The Daily Post is called “express yourself”.a

It’s kind of hard to find a fitting photo or come up with a fitting idea.

Thus, I picked a photo of me taken by a friend of mine. It’s taken on Iceland last summer and is a perfect example for the weather conditions we have had. πŸ™‚

Take care!

  1. Bravo! This is both a dramatic photo and a reminder to us all to remain calm and poised through turbulent times. The photo should be printed out (poster size) and placed on a wall near the place where we try to envision the next “best” response to the weekly photo challenge. At times the challenge appears to be beyond personal interpretation. BUT as your photo so eloquently illustrates article submitters should remain calm, take a deep breath and concentrate fully on the way in which T H E Y want to interpret a particular theme. There is no right or wrong way. Just the way Y O U as a creative person feels the weekly challenge should be interpreted to our own way of liking. Thank you for sharing your art work. Keep up the good work and don’t get flustered or frustrated by ANY themes suggested by WP.

    1. Thank you very much, Gerry. I’m feeling flattered.
I also think, there is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’. I’m only looking if a photo works for me and if the message touches me.
I don’t check any post, before posting mine. But, it’s always interesting to see afterwards, how other interpret the theme.

What do you think?
