This week’s topic for the weekly photo challenge by “The Daily Post” is “time”
Albert Einstein once said, time is relative. And it depends on the situation, you’re in. When kissing a nice girl for five minutes feels like lasting only a second, but sitting a second on a hot fire feels like being for hours in that place.
Take care have a great weekend!

Yes, it’s ok now. Nice shot !
thanks! 🙂
Such a beautiful image ..
Thanks, Julie!
This photo is gorgeous. I’ve often thought of time as a river — you can’t stop the flow and it’s never the same water going by 🙂
There’s a song by The Alan Parson’s Project called Time. The first line is “Time is flowing like a river”. Although, I really love that song, it wasn’t my inspiration.
In my opinion time ‘runs’ or ‘goes on’. Thus, I wanted to show something moving while the surrounding scene stands still. I considered some other long time exposures, too. I.e. moving waves, spinning ferries wheels and other spinning carousels. But, finally, I’ve chosen this image of a tiny creek with the flowing air bubbles painting some interesting lines on the surface.
I’m glad, you like it, Rebekah!
Wow, I hadn’t thought of The Alan Parson’s Project for YEARS! Good you reminded me, will go and check it out now.
🙂
Although, I love all of their work. But, “Turn of a friendly card” is my all time favorite album. Even their are songs that I love more than this.
So true! Nice shot– love the movement of the water.
Thanks, Jane!
Beautiful image. Timeless! Thank you for sharing.
thanks, Lita.
It’s my pleasure!
