The symbol for something impossible for the ancient romans and native only to Australia and Tasmania: the black swan, Cygnus stratus, Trauerschwan or Schwarzschwan

    1. yes, I kown. It’s native to Australia and Tasmania. Those living here, have escaped from zoos and similar organizations or are descendants of those escaped animals.
      But, did you know, for the ancient romans the idea of a black swan was the allegory of something impossible 🙂
