Monochrome Madness 3-12

600_3616-bc_wThis is the first week of a month, and so we have a themed Monochrome Madness. This time, Leanne asked us for monochrome images showing something “high”. As usual, it’s up to the participants to interpret the theme and find something.

I picked an image of the iconic symbol of the city of love: the Eiffel Tower. It’s taken on a wet and unfriendly day in September 2013.

As usual, you can click in the image to see it bigger.

It’s my contribution to Monochrome Madness organized by Leanne Cole.

Take care!

WPC: opposites

This week’s topic for the weekly photo challenge by “The Daily Post” is “opposites”.

In this image you can see the sun and the moon covering most of the sun. I took this image last year during the partial eclipse. Unfortunately, the sky was covered the whole day. But, over a few minutes right at the maximum the clouds became thinner and gave me the opportunity to take this shot.

Take care have a great weekend!
