Lens-Artists Challenge #113 – “Labors of love”

Today, we have a guest host for Lens-Artists Challenge: it’s Rusha Sams from “Oh, the places we see

So, I picked several images from my archive showing people at work. Enjoy!

Take care!

  1. What a remarkable contribution to this week’s challenge!!! You’ve found so many photos of people doing what they love or doing what supports them best — all, of course, seem to be labors of love. I’m guilty of taking pictures of scenery, but not the people involved. You, however, have captured both. And I thank you — not just for your post but for the work you did finding just the right pictures. Nice job!

  2. What a wide selection, Andre. I especially love the shots of the men with the oxen and the close-up of the textile (needlepoint?) workers. I think you have a wonderful variety of shots!

    1. Thanks, Patti. The man with the needle is refilling disposable lighters for his customers. He drills a tiny hole in the plastic to fill it again and seals the hole when he’s done.

What do you think?
