Lens-Artists Photo Challange 155: “On the Water”

If I were asked, this could have been named by me. But, this time John Steiner is hosting the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.

I love being near the water. Unfortunately, there is no lake or river in the town, where I live. I’d have to drive for about an hour to reach the next lake.

Water, especially the big ones, means life. You can get your food from out there, you can have beautiful scenes, you can have fun on top as well as under the surface. Or, you can simply sit or stand and stare in infinity to become calm and resized to your real size in relation to nature.

For finding such images in your archive, Excire Foto is a big help. When using EXCIREFIRE20 at checkout you can save 20%.

Take care!

    1. Thanks, John. I never saw it going out or coming in. But each day it looked different and had a different position/ direction compared to the day before. Therefore I‘m pretty sure it was/is still in use. 😊

  1. Holy smokes Andre, you have got some SERIOUS archives my friend! Loved these. They are all wonderful. Especially liked the guy in the vehicle on the beach who looks so VERY happy!

    1. Oh, Tina, thank you soooooo much. I also loved the smile of the guy in his beach kite buggy. He is a real symbol of how much fun this is (at least for him). I was told, it would be challenging to get some proficiency

  2. Wow… fantastic gallery! You have captured some happy moments. I love your evening/night shots! Excellent!

    1. thank you so much, Amy. The rising and setting sun gives so much ambiance to an image. An at night everything looks different.
