Living where I do, it is impossible to not be surrounded by green. Yes, the vineyards are resplendent with other colors but we have plenty of pine and other trees, plants, and shrubs.
😊 in which region does your sister-in-law live? Don’t forget, such an amount of green means lots of rain. But, here’s quite close to the amount in the image
Might be right for your sister-in-law. But the département is definitely nearer to Switzerland than Brittany , Normandy, or the Mediterranean Coast. That’s what I was referring to.

I‘m also not in a big town. We‘ve about 25,000 citizens and borders north to an agricultural area.
We are à village of 700. It’s à bit of à change from California”s major cities and NYC, and I adore it.
I believe that unchecked😊
Not that sort or amount of green here but I definitely see it when I visit my s-i-l in France.

They live in the Franche-Comté. And they do get plenty rain. 😉
Ah, ok, West-Alpes. Right next to Switzerland. I’ve never been in that region. 🙁
They’re still some distance from Switzerland and about the same distance from Germany.
