Jumièges

This city is known for the ruin of the abbey. Even there are some interesting houses, too, beside the abbey.

It was quite easy to find a free parking space and during our time there I noticed, that there was only very limited traffic.

Even if you not plan visiting the abbey, I recomend at least going to the entracne and read the information. How old it is, who already was involved building and / or destroying the abbey. For me, it was like a who-is-who of ancient European history.
