How well it is, having a sunny day after all the long grey and rainy weeks. OK, every now and then, there was a sunny moment between the rain. But most of the time we have had not only drizzling rain, but huge amounts of downpour. During few hours some regions suffered more rain, than during an average month. And, July and August are meant the hottest and driest months of the year.
Although we have had a nice sunny day, we only have had about 16°C. That’s at least 20 degrees too little. This also means it t-shirt weather when walking in the sun, but you need a jacket when walking in the shadows.
But, nevertheless, such a nice day does very well. Btw. the next rain front is expected to arrive here on Tuesday 😦
Spring is a wonderful season – especially for a photographer. All the flowers pop out of the ground, trees are blooming, the air is getting warmer, everything is colorful. In my last posts, I already showed many flowers. So I want to show something different today as my contribution to this weeks photo challenge at The Daily Post.
I took these photos about two weeks ago. The ground is green and many small flowers are blooming. The trees already have leaves, but the aren’t too thick to hinder the sunlight to reach the ground. A few week later, the area will look very different.
